About

Rodger & Heather Savill

We were called into the ministry of living and working with troubled people many years ago, in fact, very soon after we were married.

From that time on, the Lord has been growing and teaching us from life’s experiences and His Word the ‘Bible’. God first led us to work and counsel in our community as we trained and dealt with all the issues of human brokenness, then in a residential “Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Centre” in 1995. Then in 1997 we were enabled to establish Oasis House in Tokoroa. A centre for people who had been traumatized as children, struggling with relationships, personal and social issues and addictions.

From a Biblical and Christ centered foundation, we have seen many people healed and restored to wholeness. We have sought to approach answers for woundedness and social issues only from Scripture. We believe in the sufficiency and insights of the Bible for “All issues of life”, “Marriage Recovery” and “Family Restoration”.

We witness continuously the wonderful freedom from brokenness and bitterness, that has enslaved people and broken marriages and families for many years. When we are made whole within our hearts, we are then able to experience the freedom and joy of forgiveness flowing through us, and the joy of connecting at deeper levels with others.

Are you ready for recovery?

  • Would your life be better or worse without your anger?
  • Are you comfortable with your life as it is, or would you like to see change?
  • Are you ready to change?
  • How bad will it have to get before you are ready?
  • How much pain are you willing to endure or cause for the sake of your anger?
  • How much are you prepared to lose in the practise of your anger?
  • When will it be enough? After five years of agony? After the collapse of your career? Your marriage? Your family? How much loneliness is enough?
  • Are you comfortable with the prospect of a life lived in isolation?
  • At what point would you admit you are out of control?
  • What would you be willing to do to be free?
